Relaxation not only benefits us in our personal lives but also helps us be more productive team members. Relaxation can reduce our heart rate, lower blood pressure and decrease feelings of anxiety and depression. It can also ease your pain, promote calmness and increase your confidence. In short, relaxation and taking care of your mental health can make you a more positive person to be around.

How We Support Our Team Members

When team members are more relaxed and feel supported, everyone is more productive. Here at Rocket Companies®, we want to help team members do their best work and be their best selves, so we strive to offer the best resources available.

Here is how Rocket does that.

Health Care Benefits

We help team members be their best selves by offering competitive mental health benefits. Each full-time team member and their dependents has access to the following:

  • 12 free therapy sessions that renew annually and are fully covered by the company.
  • Access to psychiatry for medication management support.
  • Unlimited access to a dedicated care navigator who can support you with your personal care plan.
  • Convenient times for therapy appointments with a diverse network of providers.
  • On-demand mental health exercises.
  • Work-life resources including family, legal and financial.
  • 24/7 access to crisis support.

Rocket Companies also recognizes that a common barrier to these resources is cost. While therapy is an important and necessary tool, its high price tag has left many without access. Here at Rocket, we acknowledge this gap and have worked to close it by offering team members access to a wide variety of mental health professionals and other resources.

Meditation Rooms

Meditation can help team members reduce stress, manage anxiety and promote emotional health. This is why we created meditation rooms in our offices.

These spaces are the perfect place to meditate, take a screen break or practice deep breathing exercises. They are quiet and clean; perfect for anyone who needs a moment to recenter themselves during a busy day.

Classes Through Rock Health Collective

In addition to the amazing benefits packages we offer, there are also offer a variety of classes through the Rock Health Collective that are free for team members. Some of the classes offered include:

  • Yoga
  • Stretching
  • Meditation
  • Strength-building

TMRNs

One of the most important resources we have at Rocket, are Team Member Resource Networks (TMRNs). At Rocket Companies we have 11 different TMRNs, each of which has a different focus. From Perspective, our TMRN for LGBTQ+ team members and allies, to the Multicultural Alliance Network, each group is open to all team members. Every TMRN is built around four pillars:

  • Educate: Heighten team members’ awareness within the Family of Companies about trends that impact the business.
  • Develop: Encourage TMRN leaders and serve as support for underrepresented groups within Rocket Companies.
  • Community: A professional place to provide communication, collaboration and connectivity among team members and around a common experience or identity.
  • Act: Provide a sounding board around strategic diversity objectives within the organizations.

TMRNs are one of our most important resources because they encourage our team members to bring their full identities into the workplace. By allowing team members to fully be themselves, they feel more comfortable contributing to discussions and feel more positively about their contributions, which only increases the quality of their work.

This creates a positive feedback loop where coming to work is a beneficial and affirming experience. When team members feel affirmed and welcomed, their stress levels are lower and the workplace becomes a better experience for everyone.

The Bottom Line
