Rocket Companies® is dedicated to supporting all paths to parenthood. Whether you are trying to conceive naturally, looking to foster or adopt, or need support through assisted reproduction, our benefits have you and your family covered.

Adoption and foster care are incredible ways to add to one’s family, but they can come with additional costs. To support these expenses, Rocket Companiesreimburses full-time team members up to $10,000 per adoption and part-time team members up to $5,000 per adoption. This money can help cover costs such as agency and placement fees, court costs, and other legal fees and travel expenses associated with the adoption.

Families welcoming a foster child into their home can also receive financial assistance to help cover expenses such as clothing, food, transportation and recreation. Full-time team members can receive up to $1,500 per child, per calendar year. Part-time team members can receive up to $750 per child, per year.

Additionally, team members covered under the company insurance will receive coverage on infertility care, such as IVF or IUI, having to only pay a percentage of the treatment costs after their deductible is met, and a copay for associated prescriptions drugs.

New in 2022, Rocket Companies is partnering with a vendor considered to be the gold-standard in fertility education benefits. Through this partnership, team members have full access to in-depth courses created by experts on a variety of topics such as IVF, IUI, surrogacy, LGBTQ+ family planning and more. Team members can also access verified patient reviews of specific fertility clinics to help take the guesswork out of selecting the very best provider for their needs.

Hear From Our Team Members

Those are the benefits we offer, but let’s hear the perspective from some team members who’ve utilized them. The impact is real.

Kylie Q., EVP Title and Settlement Services

Our daughter recently turned two. While cleaning up smashed cupcakes, my wife and I paused to think about how the heck we have a two-year-old. I can tell you that there is no way that our family would look the same if it weren’t for the fertility benefits at Rocket Companies.

We tried IUI with multiple failed attempts. We switched doctors and decided to try IVF. Our benefits allowed us to choose the best doctors for us, instead of having the find the least expensive. Between the medications, injections, procedures and implantation, the bills were tens of thousands of dollars, and were all required to be paid at the time of service.

Luckily, we were blessed with our daughter and our lives will never be the same. We are so thankful for Rocket Companies and will be forever grateful.”

“My husband and I knew we wanted to have children. We tried for a while and couldn’t conceive. I have endometriosis, low ovarian reserve and a blocked tube. It was devastating, heartbreaking and depressing to say the least.

We knew we had to look into IVF and thankfully Rocket Companies covers it! The insurance process wasn’t hard at all as the clinic just billed Blue Cross. If it wasn’t for Rocket covering the IVF expenses, having a family would have been impossible.

You don’t know how blessed I feel to work for a company with amazing health benefits. We now have a beautiful 10-month-old baby girl. Thank you, Rocket Companies.”

“I will be forever grateful for Rocket Companies and the fertility benefits that they provide to us. My husband and I struggled with fertility for 4 years (five ectopic pregnancies). We finally moved to IVF. Due to cost, we opted for treatment in New York, since it was so much cheaper than treatments in Michigan.

Throughout the course of 4 years, we spent over $18,000 on failed treatments. I joined Rocket Companies in January 2020 with no knowledge of the fertility benefits available to team members. I was blown away once I dove into the actual coverage and benefits we receive and kept thinking there must be a catch.

My husband and I were so excited because our opportunity to become parents was given back to us. We reached out to one of the top IVF Doctors in Michigan and began the process again. I had a few surgeries to prep for treatment, and after our first full-cycle we were pregnant.

The medication cost with our IVF Benefit was $200.00 compared to the $8,000 we paid without insurance. The cycle cost was $400 compared to the $8,000, plus travel expenses we paid with no coverage. We ended up paying $400.00 out of pocket at the very end, and that was because we did assisted hatching which is not fully covered.

I recommend that you utilize the maximum amount allowed to put away in your health savings plan; this will allow you to go through treatment and not even think about the financial aspect. This alone helped eliminate so much stress during this process which made such a difference.

With our benefits, there is no max limit as to how many times you can cycle, which means that we can try for another child. Fertility issues can be isolating and depressing. Rocket Companies not only offers incredible benefits but there is also a chat and support group to ask questions about meds, insurance, donor questions, IUI, Surrogacy, venting and success with other team members experiencing fertility struggles.

We even have a group that meets up via Microsoft Teams once a month. The amount of support Rocket provides contributed to our success and made our dreams come true this past July when we welcomed our first child into the world.”

My IVF journey started like many others. My husband and I have been trying to start a family for 2 years with no success. After many months of different fertility medication failures, the next step was to try IVF. We went to IVF Michigan who has worked with many Rocket team members.

Our benefits cover so much of the up-front costs that it makes an already super stressful process feel much better. There are so many different medications and injections to keep track of, time properly and manage the expenses for.

The coverage that we have for IVF is unheard of. I can’t imagine going through such an emotionally taxing experience while having to figure out how to pay for such an expensive procedure without coverage. When I talk about an already super stressful process, our IVF transfer almost got cancelled because of the pandemic. I went through IVF in March of 2020.

Luckily my transfer was not cancelled because of how far into the process I was. I had a few complications during pregnancy that caused me to have more monitoring and tests run which were almost all covered. At the end of the pregnancy, I ended up on bed rest and learned more about our short-term disability coverage as well.

Again, it was a relief knowing the coverage we have can help during such a stressful time. In November 2020, we welcomed a very healthy boy who is our literal world. We are lucky enough to be having another little boy in August of this year (2022).

The impact that our health coverage has had on my life is more than I can put into words.  IVF is so expensive but when you get a negative pregnancy test month after month, you will do almost anything to create a family. I’m proud to spend my time working for a company that understands that IVF may be the only way someone can create a family and helps to make that happen.
