Internship Best Practices

As an intern at Rocket Companies®, embracing the company culture is a crucial part of the experience. In a virtual setting, this can be tough to accomplish. Thankfully, we have many events and resources to support interns throughout their journey.

These biweekly engagements foster networking by providing an opportunity for our interns from across the country to “meet up.” Instead of grabbing lunch like we may have done in the office, we’ve created a virtual space for interns to meet like-minded individuals and build their professional network. The sessions aren’t facilitated, so the conversation topics are endless!

When learning about Rocket Companies®, who better to hear from than team members themselves? Events are offered throughout the internship that feature insight on the company’s goals and priorities, advice from leaders and firsthand experiences from past interns who turned into full-time team members. During these sessions, new interns can ask questions and get feedback from various team members representing business areas and companies from across the organization.

For those interns looking to really boost their resume, we offer a library of free resources and trainings. Our in-house platform, Journey, allows you to watch micro-learnings, participate in business area or skill-specific trainings, borrow books from our library, access DEI resources and so much more.
